Montreal Force

Branding a First-Year Pro Hockey Team With Purpose and Power

Overview

The Challenge
Montreal Force, a brand-new team in the Premier Hockey Federation, needed a full visual identity and content strategy to launch their inaugural season. The brand had to capture Montreal’s energy, reflect the league’s values, and stand out in a growing women’s sports landscape.

Our Approach
We built the brand and content system from scratch, focused on authenticity, strength, and story:

  • Developed a full brand identity including logo, typography, and color palette
  • Crafted a content strategy to highlight player personalities and team values
  • Designed social templates and campaign visuals to drive fan engagement
  • Built a content playbook to guide internal teams across the season

Key Deliverables

  • Logo and brand identity system
  • Social content templates
  • Season-long content strategy
  • Brand guidelines and toolkit

The Impact
Montreal Force debuted with a strong, unified brand presence that resonated with fans and aligned with the PHF’s mission. The visuals and voice helped the team cut through in their first season and laid the foundation for long-term brand equity in women’s pro hockey.
